Why the official route does not work for many people

Most users in Uzbekistan carry only a national UzCard or HUMO card. Telegram’s official payment flow, however, goes through an App Store or Google Play account and asks for an international Visa/Mastercard. That is the real obstacle: the subscription is wanted, the card does not fit.

Issuing a foreign card for a single subscription is slow and not always possible, which is why a flow that accepts local payment ends up being the shortest path.

How the payment itself goes:

What happens when the term ends

The account is not blocked — chats, channels and files stay put, and only the Premium perks switch off. No auto-renewal is attached, so nothing is charged on its own. Renewing means placing a new order, and that can be done without waiting for the term to run out.
