Can you get a collectible gift through the bot? Limited gifts, the NFT Market and rental

Since 14 September 2026 bots cannot send the limited gifts Telegram took off sale. A ready collectible (NFT) gift can still be bought in @StarsPaymee_bot’s NFT Market — up to 300,000 so‘m — or rented.

Short answer

Two kinds of gift need telling apart. Since 14 September 2026 bots cannot send the limited gifts Telegram took off sale, so they are gone from @StarsPaymee_bot’s regular gift catalogue. Collectible (NFT) gifts are still in the bot: in the NFT Market you buy a listed copy for up to 300,000 so‘m and it becomes yours, or you rent one for a set term.

Updated — October 2026

Since 14 September 2026 the limited gifts Telegram took off sale cannot be sent by bots — they were removed from the regular gift catalogue. Since 21 September the bot runs an NFT Market: a listed collectible (NFT) gift can be bought for up to 300,000 so‘m. NFT rental, regular gifts, Stars, Premium, game top-ups and Steam all work too.

What exactly changed

The bot’s regular catalogue used to include 11 limited gifts that Telegram had taken off sale. Since 14 September 2026 Telegram no longer offers them to bots — the gift list bots receive now holds regular gifts only — so they were removed from the catalogue.

What exactlyThrough the botInside Telegram yourself
Regular giftsYes, worksYes
StarsYes, worksYes
Telegram PremiumYes, worksYes
A limited gift Telegram took off sale, bought newNo — not offered to bots since 14 SeptemberNo — not on sale in Telegram either
Buying a listed collectible (NFT) copyYes — NFT Market, up to 300,000 so‘mYes, if listed on the market
An NFT gift for a set term (rental)Yes — NFT rentalNo
Upgrading a gift to collectibleNoYes, for Stars — if the gift offers it

So the limit applies only to a new limited copy. A ready collectible (NFT) copy is in the NFT Market; one for a set term is in NFT rental.

Why it happened

It is worth being precise here, because different versions circulate online. Here is what we checked:

What we know for certain
  • Gift sending in the Bot API works only with gifts from the list Telegram gives bots; since 14 September 2026 that list holds no limited gifts — regular ones only.
  • No official announcement specifically banning limited gifts for bots was found when we checked — we saw the change itself.
  • Collectible (NFT) gifts take a different path: an NFT Market copy is bought on an open TON gift marketplace and transferred to your Telegram account; rental runs through the same marketplace. So this limit does not touch them.

The accurate wording: the bot cannot send a new limited gift, but it can buy you a ready collectible copy. With no official announcement, we will not claim “Telegram banned it on such-and-such a date”.

What the bot offers now

NFT Market

A listed collectible (NFT) copy for up to 300,000 so‘m; it becomes yours.

NFT rental

A collectible gift for the term you choose; it goes back when the term ends.

Regular gifts

From the permanent catalogue (15–100 ⭐) — as before, in so‘m and within minutes.

Stars

Buying Stars works fully — and those are exactly what an upgrade needs.

Premium

The 3, 6 and 12-month subscription and gifting are unchanged.

Games and Steam

The GamPay and Steam wallet sections are also untouched.

Three ways to get a collectible gift

Getting a collectible gift has not become impossible. Which route fits depends on how long you need the gift and which gift you already have.

1. The NFT Market — buy a ready copy

In the bot’s NFT Market you buy a listed collectible copy for up to 300,000 so‘m, and ownership passes to you. Payment is by UzCard/HUMO card transfer or from the balance only. Once the purchase is confirmed on-chain, the NFT is held by StarsPaymee: the bot asks you to message @StarsPaymeeSupport, and an admin transfers the gift to your Telegram @username — so it is not instant.

2. NFT rental — for a set term

If you need the gift only for a while (a holiday, a trial), you can rent it for the number of days you choose instead of buying it outright; it goes back when the term ends. More in renting NFT gifts.

3. Upgrade — inside Telegram, for Stars

Some gifts in Telegram can be turned into a collectible copy for Stars — but only those whose card offers the upgrade option. The order:

  1. 1. Buy Stars in the botThe amount you need, in so‘m — this section works.
  2. 2. Pick a gift that can be upgradedNot every gift can — check the gift’s card for that option.
  3. 3. Receive or send the giftThe bot’s regular gifts are currently the permanent ones (15–100 ⭐). If you are getting one to upgrade, first check in Telegram that it offers the option.
  4. 4. Upgrade it inside TelegramPress upgrade on the gift’s card — Stars are spent and the gift becomes a collectible.

If you need Stars, see buying Stars in so‘m.

If you buy a collectible elsewhere

There are plenty of scammers in NFT gift trading. The simple rules:

Warning signs
  • A password or login code is requested — stop. Telegram never asks for that over a gift.
  • Prepaying a stranger in direct messages — the most common scam. In the StarsPaymee NFT Market you pay only through the order screen in the bot: transfer the exact amount to the card shown there, or pay from your balance. No password or code is asked.
  • A price far below the market — a rare copy does not simply get cheap.
  • An unfamiliar “middleman” bot — a guarantor chosen by the seller is no guarantor.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy a collectible (NFT) gift through the bot?
Yes. In the NFT Market you can buy a listed collectible for up to 300,000 so‘m — it becomes yours. Payment is by UzCard/HUMO card transfer or from the balance. Only a limited gift Telegram took off sale cannot be had new.
Did Telegram officially ban limited gifts for bots?
We found no official announcement when we checked. What is certain: since 14 September 2026 the gift list Telegram gives bots holds no limited gifts — regular ones only. The NFT Market and rental are not affected.
So how do I get a collectible gift?
Three routes: a ready copy from the NFT Market (up to 300,000 so‘m), NFT rental for a set term, or upgrading a gift that offers it inside Telegram for Stars.
Can any regular gift be upgraded?
No. It depends on the gift — the gift's card shows whether the option exists.
How much does the upgrade cost?
Per Telegram's announcement the upgrade is paid for in Stars; the exact amount depends on the gift and is shown inside Telegram.
Do the bot's other sections still work?
Yes. The NFT Market, NFT rental, regular gifts, Stars, Premium, game top-ups and the Steam wallet all work.
How soon does a gift bought in the NFT Market arrive?
Not instantly. After payment the purchase is confirmed on the TON blockchain and the NFT is held by StarsPaymee; then an admin transfers it to your Telegram @username — the bot asks you to message @StarsPaymeeSupport.
What if someone offers a collectible cheaply?
Be careful: a password or login-code request, a stranger in DMs demanding prepayment, or a price far below the market are all scam signals.
Will limited gifts come back to the bot?
That depends on Telegram and cannot be promised. Listed collectible copies can already be bought in the NFT Market.
